Emergency Payment Service (EPS)

All our services rely upon the accurate calculation and payment of individuals.  Receiving ones salary after a hard week or months work is critical. Not paying staff on time can lead to them facing unbudgeted expenditure such as unauthorised overdraft charges; worse still, it can lead to resentment within the team.  A simple thing like a network or BACS file failure can mean that the deadline for payment of bulk salary files will fall outside of the normal BACS processing window.  Not everyone is geared up for Fasterpay and not every bank has enabled the solution yet. 

Esentual is able to take your BACS ready file by e-mail or FTP and convert it to FasterPay and pay people same day.  We have processed 3,500 payments in 30 minutes so it’s quick and effective, saving you the huge cost of 1,000’s of CHAPS charges (obviously we charge, but not to the same degree as your bank!).  In fact we understand that when the payment processing reaches beyond the low hundreds of CHAPS, it is virtually impossible for many banks to guarantee payment (and the cost is normally £25 each payment).

If you get caught out by a process or technology failure, and need to get everyone paid quickly and effectively for less than the cost of the equivalent CHAPS processing, then Esentual EPS is a great option.
